Before the Logos was Mythos and before Mythos was Form.
In the pursuit of “it” I have been deconstructing many of my influences from the past several years. These influences are found in the forms that created stories and the stories that created the rational. Wading through the waters of history have led me to a pre mythos form. Largely inspired by Manet’s – Le Dejeuner sur l’herbe, the new work is focused on the dialogue between figures form and color. The first pieces are now on view at Christine Klassen Gallery in Calgary and Elevation Gallery in Canmore.
